Who I work with
I work with individuals aged 10 and up. When working with a younger population, I always encourage caregivers to take an active role in treatment as they can be some of the biggest supports for young people. At the initial intake session we talk more about who is appropriate, and to what extent, to participate in sessions. I also have an extensive background working with adolescents, young adults, and women’s issues. I'm a 2LGBTQIA+ and a neurodiverse affirming provider.
Things we can work on together
When I work with clients, I want to make sure we are a good fit together and I can be helpful to you and your needs. Treatment areas where we can work together are:
Anxiety such as general anxiety, phobias, social phobia, or OCD
Depression, including major depressive disorder
Eating disorders when out-patient care is needed
Grief support and loss processing
Groups
Art therapy groups with a focus on themes such as body image exploration, self compassion for tweens & adolescents, after school art “drop in” with your peers are scheduled throughout the year.
All groups are 90 minutes in length and take place in-person at my office location.
Registration information will be available soon!
Insurances I work with
For mental health therapy services I am an in-network provider for BlueCross BlueSheild (Anthem), Aetna, Cigna, and UnitedHealthCare. Please be sure to check with your insurance carrier before our meeting to insure your coverage, that I am in-network with your plan, and confirm what portion of fees you are responsible for such as co-pay, co-insurance, and whether or not a deductible will apply.
If you have an insurance I am not in-network with, you may have out-of-network benefits which can be used to reimburse you for my services when I provide you with a "superbill."
I also accept clients for private pay or out-of-pocket pay. Please contact me for my current fees as they vary depending on services provided.
How we can work together
Different people need different supports and we will work collaboratively to explore treatment goals. Sessions are typically 60 minutes and at a frequency which works for your schedule and your goals. Appointments are available in-person in my office space or can be arranged for secure, confidential telehealth.
